There are the current features of GPixPod, the cross-platform photo manager for recent Apple iPod players.
Supports iPod video (5G), iPod Photo and iPod Nano
Creates new Photo Databases from scratch
Loads Photo Databases (even generated by iTunes) with the option to copy full resolution images
Can upload all PixBuf supported image formats: thus even XPM,
SVG, etc.
Can of course select multiple photos to upload from a directory
Renames photo albums
Displays details of photos
Written in PyGTK, it is very portable: runs on GNU/Linux (and should run on many Unix/*BSD flavours), and on Windows 2000/XP
Very little dependencies: only builtin python modules and gtk are used. If DBUS/HAL support is installed, it will be used in Gnome for autodetection.
