Updated Win32 installer to the latest 0.6.2 release

After some time (previous version was stalled at 0.4.0) finally the Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 package has been updated to the latest 0.6.2 release.
The installer is based on NSIS 2.2 and includes everything needed to run GPixPod, GTK+ and Glade 2.8, Python 2.4 and PyGTK 2.8 libraries in its own installation directory. The C imgconvert GPixPod python extension has been compiled with distutils and MingW for x86.
Download (GPixPod_062_Setup.exe)!

Hi, i’ve installed on my windows with iPod with 1.3 firmware and it doesn’t work.
I’ve tryed to disable and enable photo features on iTunes, but GPixPod doesn’t recognizes it. I think it’s so because apple has changed the SysInfo structure.

Have you tried to setup your kind of model in preferences?

  3. Pascal Says:

Yes, but i’ve resolved. I’ve copied the old sysinfo (where it’s the serial number) and now it works very well!

  4. Tim Says:

I got a 5.5G 80gb iPod with 1.2.1 firmware, but GPixPod doesn’t seem to recognize my iPod. I got no clue what SysInfo means, so any help would be appreciated.

I’ve tried to use the exe version on two different windows machines with a color iPod–model MA003ZP. Neither machine recognized the ipod–both continued to display the message “Please connect the ipod….”

    Any suggestions?

  6. I like the software but change the nag screen interval Says:

I had to set the device type to be able to sync. After that no problems. The nag screen is a little annoying. It makes me not want to donate. I usually donate when I particularly like the software but there is no need for the nag screen to pop-up as often as it does.
